It appears that Ty Lawson will be headed overseas after all.

After refuting a report last month that he had signed a deal with the Shanxi Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, the 29-year-old point guard has agreed to a contract with the Shandong Golden Stars, a source told international reporter David Pick.

Lawson's deal will reportedly be worth $2.4 million, and could be pushed to $3 million with bonuses.

The 5-foot-11 guard will join Donatas Motiejunas in China, as the former New Orleans Pelicans big man reportedly agreed to sign with the Golden Stars on Tuesday.

Lawson appeared in 69 games for the Sacramento Kings this past season, averaging 9.9 points, 4.8 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 steals on 45.4 percent shooting.
